Vitals?
UM... Nunya beeswax! (real physical vitals I'm referring to here!) Okay, I'll be nice. I'm me. I went to Hood College and studied Home Economics with a concentration of Interior Design and Retail Management. I've always been a little performer. I always did church Christmas pageants and stuff like that as a kid. I'm an only child. I'm left handed. I like food. I was in love with Michael Jackson in the 80's...seriously in love at 14 years of age! Is that enough randomness for you?
What's your favorite restaurant and entrée at that restaurant?
That's tough. I love dining out and it's tough to choose one. Depending on my mood. I love the restaurants in Downtown Frederick. I'm a fan of Cacique's Plato Norteno. But I have a motto...Bread it, Fry it, then Bring it over! So that can cover many restaurants in Frederick. Generally I can eat anything with good guacamole on it or melted cheese. Two of my favorites.
What’s your all-time favorite sitcom?
Can't I choose more than one? I'll do it and see if I get in trouble.
Three's Company was one of them. It was on when I was a child but I loved the physical comedy. I think it was great because so many of the jokes were geared at adults but I loved it anyway!
Different Strokes was another one I loved. I guess if I'm still using "What you talkin' bout Willis" in daily conversation, that means it made an impact. It was a good fun show!
What’s your all-time favorite TV drama?
Right now it's Grey's Anatomy...have you seen that cast? They are a bunch of pretty people! I like the lines they come up with as well such as: (not brilliant but funny in context)
Meredith: "Seriously?"
Christina: "Yeah Seriously"
OR
Miranda Bailey: "George stop looking at my va-jay jay" (priceless!)
I used to love Moonlighting...which wasn't a drama but I enjoyed it a lot. It was appointment television for me in the 80's!
Favorite Channel?
HGTV, I know I'm getting old when I can log hours watching it! Since I studied Interior Design in college, I still have a passion for design and decor. Plus it has House Hunters!
Which TV game show would you have the best chance of winning big money on?
Um...I've never given it any thought. I guess I've always wanted a chance to spin that big honkin wheel on the Price is Right.
What’s the worst job you ever had?
I can't think of one that I really disliked. I used to help out with catering, I've delivered newspapers (which can be pretty crummy in ice, snow, and rain), I've worked in a hospital, and I've demonstrated appliances in a department store. None of those seem that bad really...I didn't have to clean up after an elephant or anything so I'm good.
What’s your favorite website?
www.postsecret.com. This site is phenomenal! It amazes me that this started as an art project that has become an overwhelming success. It's pretty neat that normal people send in their thoughts and feelings that we can all relate to...it makes me feel a lot more connected.
What book would you suggest to Oprah for her “Book Of The Month Club”?
Has she ever done a children's book? It seems to me that since she has a big audience of mother's that might be of interest to them. Just a thought Oprah...I won't even charge you for it.
If you worked for the circus, what would your act be?
Since I'm already a bit of a clown...need I say more?
Other things we should know?
I'm sleep deprived. I like cheese. My cat Cleo is still kickin at 16 years old. I grew up in Prince Georges County, Maryland. Jim Henson (creator of The Muppets) and I attended the same high school--Northwestern High School. I have no clue about sports...really, I could care less. I love live music. I'm an Ensemble member at the Maryland Ensemble Theatre in Frederick (www.marylandensemble.org) . I've had a chance to go to some beautiful places and meet neat and interesting people. What else... I don't like Okra or grits. I was forced to eat them both as a child and would prefer if I never had to see them again. (update: I'll eat okra in Gumbo and Indian food has a cool fried okra dish but other than that my position stands. Also about the grits: I had a dish in South Carolina in January 2008 with cheese grits and they weren't that bad...but I'd still prefer not to eat them!) I did recently unknowingly eat the Indian fried okra dish and it was good. Don't tell anyone, I've got a lifelong anti-okra thing going. I like (as in have a crush on) Michael McDonald, Lenny Kravitz and Kenny Loggins.
Let me give you my list of cute boys in no particular order (there is no rhyme or reason to these either)
Lenny Kravitz
Michael McDonald
Kenny Loggins
Taye Diggs
Boris Kodjoe (don't know him, look him up...that man is a hot-tay!)
Patrick Dempsey
Wentworth Miller
I have to think I'm sure there are others... |
